Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is the owner named in the legal notice above. For any privacy question, write to menudaapp@proton.me.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Where you signed up from: which form on the page you used and, if you arrived through one of our links, the campaign tags in that link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content; for example, which video brought you here). They are sent with your email to our email provider.
- Anonymous visit statistics, only if we enable cookieless analytics in future: pages viewed, referrer, country and device type, counted without identifying you.
We do not collect payment details on this site. We do not buy, sell or rent personal data.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To send you waitlist emails: news about the app and a short weekly reading. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To understand which of our posts bring people to Tavnit, using the campaign tags above in aggregate. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our own outreach (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
Who processes it for us
- Email delivery: Kit (ConvertKit LLC), USA. Transfers outside the EU rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses in Kit's data processing agreement and on Kit's EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification.
- Website hosting: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA), which complies with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers. It processes standard server logs (including IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics: none at present. If we add cookieless visit statistics, we will name the provider here first. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After that we keep only what the law requires, such as a record of your unsubscribe so we do not email you again.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to menudaapp@proton.me. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the authority in your country.
Age
The waitlist is not intended for children under 14. If you are under 14, please ask a parent or guardian.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. Its fonts and scripts are served from our own host, so no third-party font or code service receives your visit.
Founder terms
- A founder contribution is support for building the Tavnit app. It is not an investment, a loan or a donation to a charity.
- Perks are described at the amount you choose. "Lifetime access" means access to the Tavnit app for as long as Tavnit operates it.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card details.
- Refunds: you can ask for a full refund, for any reason, until the first version of the app is delivered to you. EU consumers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal from purchase; for digital content it ends when you start using the app, if you agreed to that at checkout.
- If the app is never released, every founder is refunded in full. If the books are never released, founders at $100 or more may ask for a refund of the difference.
- Payment and billing data are processed by Stripe and kept as tax law requires.
